This picture is representative of my current perspective on graduate student life. (TMH took it last month when we went on a hiking adventure in Washington state). It's like there is a big thing in the way and I have to get around it. I feel that way about a paper I am writing at the moment. I wish there was a way I could just tunnel through it. I don't know whether going UNDER the tree was symbolic of my attitude or not- in this case, it was just the best way to get by.
